Supported project: Follow a traineeship at the carpenter’s ‘Les Machines de l’île’ workshop in Nantes and get in contact with other carpenters, learn about different work methods, other tools and ways of thinking, and to master sculpture.
Supported project: Get settled as a metalsmith specialized in edge-tool making as well as in the renovation, repair and making of mechanical and hand tools.
Supported project: 4 to 6-month stay in the Far-East to discover skills, craft techniques and traditional materials related to the conservation and restoration of graphic arts in the Far-East.
Supported project: Complete an internship with David Adrian Smith and specialize in gilded glass, open a workshop in Brussels and publish a book on vernacular lettering.
Supported project: Obtain a Master’s degree in “Stained Glass Conservation and Heritage Management” at the university of York and bridge traditional artisan skills to scientific knowledge and research, and so develop a highly modern glass workshop.
Supported project: Follow a traineeship in Kyoto, Japan, to learn traditional techniques for the conservation and restoration of works of art, as well as the mounting of paper and silk paint works (Hyôgu).
